I love your blog! I love finding new hairstyles for my 6 year old daughter. Bows are always a plus!! (I was not gifted in the bow making department either!)

Tonya, could you please e-mail me? Check my profile.

Everyone, thank you so much for commenting. This was really fun for me, and I can't wait to do another giveaway!

My friend Amber now has a blog dedicated to Brynn's Bows and Blossoms. It will also always have a link here on the blog.

Also, yes...Piper's hair has been cut. I really tried to talk her into not "wanting" so much cut off, but Piper is a little bit stubborn (gee, I wonder where she gets that from). Her reasoning was..."I really want to see what it feels like to have shorter hair." Needless to say, she got it cut. And, it looks beautiful and healthy and it is still long enough to do stuff with. And, most importantly, she LOVES it, and so do I.

However, it is going to be a little hard for me to do some of our old standbys. I also know that Piper's hair grows very fast and it will be long again in a couple of months. Yes...I did cry, but I didn't let Piper see me cry, I wouldn't want her to feel bad or guilty for something as silly as getting her haircut.

Our "ponytail" posts may dwindle because her ponytail isn't as long anymore, but we did a cute one today, and I loved it. I will still be able to do A LOT of great things.

Before the haircut. Sunday with a simple "bug" for church.

During the haircut. (My cousin Melanie, she is absolutely FABULOUS!)

After the haircut. Doesn't it look so healthy and beautiful?

BY THE WAY...What in the world are all you ladies doing up in the middle of the night?

Piper's hair looks beautiful. I am sure I would cry too though. I think it is a great length because there are some really cute styles that my daughters' hair is just too long for. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I totally know how you feel. Goose cut a foot off and gave it to Locks of Love. Despite the good cause, almost on a daily basis I'm sad that I can't do all things I used to with it. At least Pipers still has more length. It's a nice change though.

The middle of the night is when the kids aren't on my lap trying to type their own blog! I also am a night owl and can't fall asleep easily. My kids usually sleep in until 9 so I can stay up late and still get enough sleep. That will all change next year when my oldest starts school!
Piper's hair was so long it could stand to lose a lot and still look long! It looks great! I can't wait to see what you do with it.

I have to agree with Alyson! When else can I sit at the computer without two extra sets of hands trying to "help" me? And I, too, love the haircut. It does still look long and beautiful.

Hey i am pretty sure you don't know me, but I remember Piper in my daughter's pre-school class last year (achiever pre-school) I love all of your creations. Pipers hair looks so cute, and a little bit of comfort, my daughter wanted hers cut last year, yes in a bob. So i let her do it, it is now a couple inches past her shoulder and I can do almost all of the same stuff with her hair that you have done with Piper. It just takes a little bit more effort and as talented as you are I am sure it will always look cute!!! Happy Hair styling :)

I too am usually up in the middle of the night, I just didn't realize other people were as well.

It actually makes me feel good that I am not the only one.

Her hair is so beautiful. It does look much healthier in the after picture. What a wonder a hair cut can do!
